Dr. Kraig Stasney, founder of Advanced Eyecare, grew up in Slidell, LA. With a father who worked as an engineer and a mother who owned a small business, Dr. Stasney grew up with an early appreciation for customer service and hard work.  

After focusing on playing the trumpet throughout his childhood, Dr. Stasney attended Louisiana State University as a scholarship trumpet player. Shifting focus to his love of science, Dr. Stasney attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, to obtain his doctorate in Optometry in 1995.  

Dr. Stasney has maintained his love for creative spirit and innovation by staying at the forefront of technology in his profession. His empathy for his patients has helped the people of Pearl River County, St. Tammany Parish, and the surrounding areas for nearly 30 years.
